The Delaware Hospice Center meets the needs of those who require short-term stays for symptom management. The nurturing and supportive environment of the Hospice Center allows flexibility and personalized attention to each patient and their loved ones.
Visiting hours are unlimited.
The center provides 16 private patient/family suites in a comfortable and peaceful home-like atmosphere, with space for the family to gather. A team of experienced professionals offers specialized hospice care 24 hours a day, allowing family members to spend quality time together.
Guests are welcome to use the family centered spaces – kitchen, children’s play area, and a community resource and support center. Click here to experience the community shared spaces.
Patients and family members can enjoy the views of the beautifully landscaped gardens through patio doors and windows, or relax with a quiet walk through the wooded grounds.

We understand how hard it is during this time, especially if you are not familiar with the area around our new Center. We have provided a few of the area’s accommodations to assist you in making your arrangements.
Volunteer opportunities include greeting visitors, baking cookies for guests, organizing afternoon teas, reading and playing cards with patients, working in the gardens, special events, health fairs, office support and much more.
Our special events are great opportunities for teen volunteers or youth group organizations to get involved and help make a difference for individuals and their families.
Nothing compares to the compassion and understanding given by our volunteers. Each gesture and smile makes the world of difference during this time for every patients and their family.
