Delaware Hospice hires Assistant Director of Development for Kent & Sussex Counties
Delaware Hospice is pleased to announce that Peggy Dolby has joined its staff as Assistant Director of Development for Kent and Sussex Counties. For the last ten years, Peggy has worked for the Carl M. Freeman Communities as a Project Coordinator for Land Development. Peggy also sat on the Board for the Freeman F.A.C.E.S. Committee for three years and was instrumental in its development and implementation in Sussex County. Peggy has shared her leadership and fundraising expertise with several local nonprofit organizations, including the Lower Sussex Little League, Lower Sussex Pop Warner, Indian River High School Football Boosters, Mothers of Asthmatics, the Leukemia Society, the Breast Cancer Society, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
In her new role at Delaware Hospice, Peggy will be focusing on the capital campaign to support the construction of the new Delaware Hospice Center. This campaign, entitled “The Community Campaign to Expand Delaware Hospice,” will fund construction of a 16 family suite, 35,000 sq. ft. Center, situated in Milford on 11.5 acres of land. The Delaware Hospice Center will provide a new option of care for patients and families for whom at home care is not feasible.
