Coventry Health Care of Delaware CEO to Chair Hospice Golf Outing
Al Redmer, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Coventry Health Care of Delaware, Inc., will serve as Honorary Chair for Delaware Hospice’s Fourth Annual Golf Outing.
Delaware Hospice is proud to announce that Al Redmer, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Coventry Health Care of Delaware, Inc., will serve as Honorary Chair for the organization’s Fourth Annual Golf Outing.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 27th at the White Clay Creek Country Club in Newark, DE. The outing will raise significant funds for the non-profit Delaware Hospice, supporting its services and charitable programs in the community.
“On behalf of the employees of Coventry, I am honored to be associated with this charitable event. The attentive professionals of the Delaware Hospice have provided high quality care and compassion to over twenty-six thousand patients and families since 1982,” stated Redmer.
“Either through family or friends, most of us have recognized the importance of the services provided by Delaware Hospice. That is why our event offers a rewarding way for people to give back to the community. The tournament committee has developed an exciting package of sponsorship opportunities and a day of golf at a challenging venue that are second to none. The Chief Executive Officer at Coventry Health Care of Delaware since October, 2005, Redmer previously served in the Maryland legislature for thirteen years and as the Maryland Insurance Commissioner for nearly three years.
