Delaware Hospice Treats Residents of the Milford Center to an afternoon of Big Band Tunes
Delaware Hospice treated the residents of the Milford Center to an afternoon of nostalgia with the big band tunes of Three Hits and a Miss. This popular musical ensemble regularly plays for audiences in the area. They perfectly meet the goals of the Delaware Hospice philosophy of care by providing enjoyment and a higher quality of life to its patients and families.
The group added a few Irish songs to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day much to the delight of the residents and staff. Hands were clapping and feet were tapping during this hour long performance and every face had a smile! Dave Arbaugh, Activities Director, and his dog, Obie, demonstrated their dancing ability during one of the songs and had such fun that they invited the group back to perform again.
