Delaware Hospice C.E.O. Susan Lloyd appointed to NHPCO’s Legislative Subcommittee
Delaware Hospice’s President and C.E.O., Susan D. Lloyd, M.S.N., R.N., has been appointed to the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Public Policy Committee and will serve as Chair of its Legislative Subcommittee. These committees assist in analyzing, developing and supporting or opposing federal legislation related to hospice and palliative care. In this capacity, Ms. Lloyd will offer input into national policy related to hospice and end-of-life care.
Susan Lloyd has been President and C.E.O. of Delaware Hospice since 1987. Susan earned her B.S. in Nursing from Bloomsburg State College and her M.S. in Nursing Service Administration from Villanova University. She has extensive experience in home care and hospice care. Susan is a community leader, serving on the board and committees of groups such as the Delaware Cancer Care Consortium, Delaware End of Life Care Consortium, and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
