Delaware Hospice holds orientation and training for new volunteers

Care for yourself and others. 

Delaware Hospice has served patients and families in Delaware as the only non-profit hospice in Delaware for twenty-five years.

Delaware Hospice offers orientation and training to those interested in being part of its home care teams, where participants will benefit from valuable healthcare information.

In addition to home care, individuals interested in helping out at Delaware Hospice might choose to assist in the office in areas such as medical records, bereavement support, or fundraising events, and enjoy the convenience of flexible hours.

Delaware Hospice’s Kent County Volunteer Training will take place on Saturday, October 20th, and Saturday, October 27th, from 8:30 – 4:00 p.m., at the Delaware Hospice Office in Dover, 911 S. DuPont Hwy.  Registration is required.  To register or learn more, call Judy Knutstad, Volunteer Coordinator, at 678-4448, ext. 117. 

Delaware Hospice’s Sussex County Volunteer Training will take place on Tuesday, October 23rd, and Wednesday, October 24th, from 8:30 – 4:00 p.m., at Milford Senior Center, 111 Park Ave., Milford.  Registration is required.  To register or learn more, call Mary Costello, Volunteer Coordinator, at 855-2344, ext. 120.
